Wednesday Night Meditation

Time:  Every Wednesday night (unless otherwise noted) from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. 

Location:  The Meditation Pavilion behind the church building at the Center for Spiritual Living 1905 Hartnell Avenue, Redding, CA 96002
Details: 
A typical Wednesday evening consists of:
  • Sitting meditation (20 minutes)
  • Walking meditation (10 minutes)
  • Sitting meditation or ritual (10 to 15 minutes)
  • Dharma discussion (for the remaining time) 
Each Wednesday night of the month has a different theme: 
1st Wednesday  – the Buddha (awakening and mindfulness);
2nd Wednesday  – the Dharma (teachings);
3rd Wednesday  – reciting the Five Mindfulness Trainings;
4th Wednesday – the Sangha (community);
5th Wednesday (if any) – reciting the 14 Mindfulness Trainings.
